THE SUNDAY TIMES SAYS DAVE TROTT’S NEW BOOK IS “GENIUS”. WHO AM I TO DISAGREE?

I’m a avid fan of Dave Trott’s blog. My regular reader (hello Trevor!) knows this well. Doing my recent interview with him was great fun for me. This book is a careful distillation of Dave’s accumulated wisdom. It’s inspiring. It’s educational. It’s stimulating. All the things business books usually aren’t.

Dave is a machine. And he has been for a very long time. In an industry that eats up and spits out people, Dave has kicked advertising’s ass over and over. That is rare. And he is as renowned for his strategic thinking and management skills as he is for his creative output. And he’s pretty revered for his executional abilities.

Though rooted in marketing and advertising, this book contains lessons that will apply to anyone trying to do the smart thing in their professional life.

But the real reason you should buy this book is that Dave is a genius. And I am not a genius. Perhaps you too find yourself in the “not genius” category? Bummer isn’t it!

The saying “Talent imitates, genius steals” applies here. Be a genius. Steal Dave Trott’s ideas.
